Rachel was recently mentioned in Forbes.com (a magazine which we believe is still read by 14 rich white guys on the East Coast only due to subscriptions they purchased through their kid's prep school fundraiser) as one of the The 25 Most Influential Liberals In The U.S. Media. She joins an illustrious list of intellectuals and entertainers who I think any one of us would be honored to have at a dinner table (Hitchens, Dowd, Zakaria, Sullivan, et al).Oh, and Forbes; don't think we missed that little "cultish" shot. If along with being hot for Rachel, one is politically engaged, literate, tolerant and possessing a sense of humor that got us through the last eight years makes us "cultish", then throw me a tambourine and hemp kaftan.

Heck, the "a lesbian" mention stuck out to me more than "cultish". What does being a lesbian have to do with being the awesomeness that is The Maddow?
